About CAMM Events
Events support research community, student training, outreach, and collaboration.
Weekly research and community events
Weekly CAMM events help trainees and researchers stay connected across research groups, build presentation skills, and share developing research ideas.
IRG meetings provide opportunities for students to present unfinished results, practice oral presentations, and receive feedback from peers and mentors.
Training, outreach, and professional development
CAMM events include professional development workshops, poster and oral presentation practice, outreach activities, community engagement, and opportunities connected to the SMaRT REU program.
Activities are designed to strengthen research communication, career development, mentoring, and engagement with broader materials science communities.
